to Petarian - Abdalian Relief Efforts |
What
we are doing
TPF/AA initially sent in teams to the target
area and have mobilized there in the middle
of Rerah Bazar. This TPF/AA camp has the following
functions:
- A field hospital
has been created with a team of nearly 7-8
volunteer doctors and other support staff.
This hospital provides basic medical and surgical
assistance to the injured and sick patients.
- We have a
Referral Service with the CMH at Bagh, and
we refer cases beyond our capability to this
CMH.
- We are surveying
the villages to create a database of what
is on the ground.
- We distribute
relief supplies including tents, food, blankets,
clothing, etc to those who have been affected
by the quake.
- We intend
to participate in the reconstruction of the
damaged or destroyed homes in this area.

We have over
35 volunteers currently operating out of our
Field site at Rera. This place is located around
half an hour drive east of Bagh.
In order to support
this activity, we need support in cash and kind
from donors all over the world.
We urge our donors to
send in crossed checks to either the Petarian
Foundation or to the Abdalian Association.
